The Batter's Box of the Quad Cities is Northwest Illinois' finest indoor/outdoor baseball and softball practice facility.

With over 16,000 square feet under roof, and 16 foot ceilings, teams have the freedom to practice all facets of the game in well-lighted and heated comfort.

The building features 2 practice areas, one specialized for softball, and one for baseball. Each area has at least one dedicated pitching lane (2 on softball side), a full-length batting cage with pitching machine, and a fielding area. The nets for the pitching lanes and batting cages are retractable, allowing the entire floor space to be used for drills.

The Batter's Box Training Center is the newest addition to the facility. Opened in December 2008, the Training Center is designed specifically for skill coaches, and features 2 batting cages and 2 pitching lanes for use by instructors working with individuals or small groups of players. The Training Center lanes are also available for rental by individuals-contact us for details!

The Batter's Box is excited to have Chris Jones and his innovative "Vision Makes the Hitter" vision training program as a part of the Batter's Box Training Center. Appointments with Chris can be book through our "Contact Us" page, or by calling us directly.

The Batter's Box is now northwest Illinois' only stocking COMBAT Sports dealer. We are carrying a wide array of baseball and softball bats that are available for you to try before you buy, right in the facility. We will also carry COMBAT gloves, catcher's gear, gear bags, and accessories. Contact us for a bat demo or to talk about your team's needs. Special discounts for teams that practice at the facility!

The Batter's Box of the Quad Cities is an appointment-only facility.
